Welcome to my personal site. The purpose behind creating it was threefold. Firstly, I needed a more organized portfolio that isn't just public projects on my GitHub profile. Secondly I needed somewhere to vent about various projects/ideas/fields of interest that cycle in and out of my mind state, without forcing them upon disinterested (read: "unwilling") family members and friends. Which is why the entire site is built more as a blog than a portfolio showcase. Although there are pages dedicated specifically to overviewing projects and skills, blog posts will delve deeper into each one, going through decision making, observations and opinions on a wide array of projects and subjects.
Lastly, the site serves as another venture into the unkown in the form of web development, something that I've been putting off learning for a while now. Reasons for which we'll probably get into in a blog post down the line, as development on the site continues.
On every page, you'll be able to see a list of all previous posts sorted from most to least recent in the box to the left of the main content. You'll also see a table of contents that will help you gain an overview of the current article and quickly jump to sections of interest.
About, Skills and Projects are special articles that will continuously be updated as my career progresses, these articles do not appear in the recent posts list, as they're not really considered "posts". About is simply information about myself as a person, motivations, goals in life etc. Skills is meant to be a systematic overview of toolings, languages and systems that I'm familiar with as a developer. Projects is meant to quickly showcase various projects that I've worked on throughout time, linking to more in depth blog articles on each for the interested reader.
